I likely spend far too much time picking colors for data visualization. Over the years I’ve accumulated lots of favorite palettes, generators, and other resources for picking colors.
I’d like to share my pile of bookmarks related to color palettes and generators. This is a dynamic list of sites and tools I’ve found fun and interesting. It’s a dynamic list of bookmarks, as I find new favorites they’ll be added to this collection.
This list is not comprehensive, and does not cover resources like best practices for colors in data viz or creating design guidelines. I’ve got plenty of bookmarks for those too, but I’ll save those for a different day.
